Cъемка в Португалии и рассказ про страну

Hi friends, today I’d like to tell you about a trip to the home country of everyone’s favourite Cristiano Ronaldo. So, let’s go!

It all started when my good friend Taisia wrote to me with an offer to stay with her for a couple of days, to see an amazing country and shoot something interesting. Strangely enough, it was hard to refuse such an offer:) So I packed my backpack, took my favourite 35, 85 and Mark 3, bought tickets (kiwi.com helped me a lot, I recommend it!) and after 15 hours, including the bus from Minsk to Warsaw, I’m already in Porto near the ocean and a lot of tourists. The first thing that strikes me is the extraordinary kindness and positivity of the people: everyone is friendly and has no problem telling me how to go somewhere or get somewhere. I headed to my friend’s place in the town of Guimarães. It’s a small, but no less attractive, town with beautiful mountains and charming cobblestone streets. By the way, it was fun to get caught in a downpour on the first day. Not the kind of Portugal I had imagined! But the next day, like the rest of my trip, the weather was marvellous.

Entertainment:

The first thing I did was head to the big city of Porto, which is actually where I flew into. From Guimarães there is a fairly comfortable and inexpensive air-conditioned train with large windows for viewing the local beauty and beauties:).

As perhaps in any tourist town, I had no problem finding wi-fi. The city is divided by a water canal, over which bridges are built at different levels and by climbing to the top, you can see the city from a bird’s eye view. Beautyaaa!!!!! As a bloke, I noticed that the city is filled with masses of hatchbacks and many of them have loaded versions. Of course, local choice falls down due to the high cost of fuel and lack of parking spaces, but like everyone else, they don’t like slow driving.

The city is made to be walked around, and in between walks to enjoy the local and insanely delicious wines.

Photoshooting:

For guys who are interested, I’ll tell you straight away, I took a Canon R, sigma 35 1/4 art and canon 85 1/8 for the shoot. Planning for the photo shoot started back in RB. I knew that the main shots we will do on the ocean at sunset and approximately imagined what will be the light. That’s why me and Lilya Nekrasova (dress) picked up a dress for the model of light ruby colour. When it was time to take measurements for the dress, the model was in Portugal and we were in Belarus. We had to resort to ingenuity, as she did not have a measuring tape. She measured herself with the cord from the charger, which is also a good option:)

On the first day of the shoot we travelled to a temple in the mountains in the town of Guimaraes. When we got there, the fog had descended and it was atmospheric and very unusual. I was preparing for sunny weather, but the fog itself added more volume and took away all the harsh shadows from the light, and soon it was overcast. But all of this not only didn’t hinder, but even added something magical to the locations where the photo shoot took place.

On the second day of the shoot we went to the ocean. The location had everything: rocks, sunset and the ocean! The shoot was crazy positive and by the end of the evening both the dress and the model were practically wet from head to toe.

P.s

In conclusion, don’t be afraid to expand your comfort zone and open yourself up to adventure. Sometimes a new world lies around the next corner.

GOOD LUCK, BRO! RELAX AND HAVE FUN. ROCK ‘N’ ROLL.
